My name is Morgan, and I’m am a woman in my 20s stepping out on faith to pursue my calling as both a future physician and business owner. I graduated from Cheyney University as the first in my household to earn a Bachelor of Science on a pre-med track—an achievement that reflects not only dedication, but purpose.
In 2020, during the uncertainty of COVID, I launched an “unofficial” business called Mixed Magic Beauty as a creative outlet. Even then, I knew I was called to build something of my own—something that honored God—but I wasn’t yet sure what that would look like.
In September 2025, God placed Promised Skin Co. LLC on my heart shortly after I stepped away from my previous business to prioritize school. At first, I felt uncertain, but I was reminded of Proverbs 3:5–6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” From that moment on, I chose obedience over doubt.
My love for science, formulation, and natural skincare allows me to merge purpose with creativity through creating products that not only nourish the skin, but reflect care and intention.
Having struggled with allergies my entire life, I understand how difficult it can be to find fragranced body care that doesn’t trigger irritation. From eczema flare-ups to dryness, I turned to natural oils and butters to restore my skin barrier. What began as a personal solution became a greater calling: to create products rooted in simplicity, transparency, and trust.
Promised Skin Co. is more than skincare. It is a reflection of faith, purpose, and God’s promises. My prayer is that each product not only nourishes your skin, but reminds you to care for the temple you’ve been given. "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."-1 Cor. 6 19-20
